Remembrance Day Chapel 2020

Remembrance Day 2020 – a time to remember and reflect on the sacrifices made by so many.
To prepare for the day we read books with our class.
These books help the student understand the purpose and the importance of Remembrance Day.
We created artwork.
Doing artwork gives us a chance to pause and reflect on what and why we remember.
On Remembrance Day we gathered together to listen to songs and poems. We had 2 minutes of silence and spent time in prayer to remember and to ask for peace.
Coming together for chapel allows us to communally remember and grieve. We bring everything to our God and Saviour and ask that he will use us to bring about peace.
May we never forget and may we always seek God’s peace.
