Having a Healthy Heart

This morning the Grade 3-4 students led us in chapel. We began by joining together in praise and worship.

The students challenged us to think about what a healthy heart looks like.

Doing exercises can help you have a heart that is physically fit.

What do we need to do to have a heart that is spiritually fit?

  1. We can love God with all our hearts
  2. We can keep our hearts focused.
  3. We can give from our heart.

While having a healthy heart physically is important, Jesus calls us to have a spiritually healthy heart as well. Through loving God, focusing our hearts, and giving to others, we can have a TOTALLY healthy heart!

We pray that God can help us to train our hearts to be more like his.
