Art Elective

This year we offered an elective in Art.
Under the direction of Mrs. Blokland and Mme. Luchies, 7 students worked on pottery and painting projects. They used their creativity to make some amazing pieces of art.
Here are some of their thoughts about what they learned:
- Before this art class I didn’t really know anything about pottery but now I have successfully made a flower vase!
- I had a lot of fun. It was fun using a lot of paint.
- One of the skills that I need to work on is shaping the clay to get what I want.
- I loved that there were no limits to this art class. We could paint anything we wanted. I love art.
