Cindy McCooeye  "As a parent of students attending TCS, I would like to let you know how much I appreciate the teachers and administration, and all the “behind the scene” hard work that has been done by supporters in the past to make TCS such a good school.  My boys (grade 3 and senior kindergarten) started going to the school in September and were warmly welcomed and quickly settled into the routines.  I have a lot of experience in the public system, and I appreciate the quality of education they receive at this school.  At TCS, they often receive one on one attention and teachers are teaching the basics in creative ways.  They aren’t “teaching to the test” (preparing for the EQAO – as they are doing in the public system.)  As a Christian, I appreciate the calm atmosphere in the school.  You do not hear raised voices or see children showing “attitude”.  The halls are peaceful and happy, and in return, when the children return home, they do not have “attitudes” and are happy.  I also appreciate that music still continues to play an important part of the curriculum.  Walking the halls, one can often hear singing or instruments.  I especially enjoy it when my children sing songs they learned at school, or when they ask me questions regarding the Bible stories they are learning at the school.  I would like to thank the staff for a job well done.  They demonstrate not only the peace and patience of Christ, but also the joy of being a Christian.  They expect top-notch work, but can have a lot of fun too.  Also, thank you to Mr. Postma and Mrs. Berkelaar.  Communication home is clear and consistent and we appreciate being kept in the loop.  And finally, above all, I would like to communicate that we are not taking all of this for granted.  We know that a lot of work has been done in the past to help lay down a solid foundation at TCS.    We recognize that much work has been done by faithful friends and supporters of TCS, and we are truly thankful.  Being able to attend a quality Christian school has been a true blessing for our family.  THANK YOU."
