Student Code of Conduct

A. Our relationship with God

1. We will speak of God in respectful ways.
2. We will encourage close relationship with God in others as well as ourselves through attention and participation in our class devotions and school assemblies.

B. Our relationship with those in authority

1. We will be respectful and courteous in our speech and conduct.
2. We will be obedient to those in authority over us.
3. We will not support any disrespect displayed by others to those in authority.

C. Our relationship to others

1. We will be respectful of others.
2. We will be careful for the safety of others in the way we play and move.
3. We will talk pleasantly with each other, not call each other names or use bad language.
4. We will respect each other's property and privacy.
5. We will do our best to include everyone in the class's activities.
6. We will not touch other kids except when we're helping or showing friendship.
7. We will apologize when we have hurt others.
8. We will respect people and property in the broader community; for instance, when we are visiting the library, enjoying class trips or participating in sports tournaments.

D. Our relationship to school property

1. We will respect school property. This includes our desks, books, sports equipment, learning materials, building and playground.
2. We will report any damage done by ourselves or others.
3. If proven responsible for damages, we may have to pay.
4. We will share the responsibility for the cleanliness of the school and playground.
