Principal: Gary Postma – I have been principal and
half time teacher of the senior grades at Timothy Christian School since
1992, and I continue to enjoy my work very much. I am privileged to work with wonderful
children, caring families and an excellent staff. In addition to my love
for God and this, His school, I enjoy music, sports and reading books,
especially while sitting along the banks of the St. Lawrence River. My
wife, Gayla, and I have three grown sons and one grand-daughter. We live
in the wonderful town of Morrisburg.

Vice Principal:
Yettie Zandbergen – I have been
involved with TCS since 1975, and am currently teaching junior and senior
kindergarten. I have been provincially certified as an Ontario teacher for
over 40 years. I am active in my church, where I have served as a deacon. I enjoy
volunteering at Timmy’s Place, a local thrift shop operated in benefit of TCS. Living
in Morrisburg, my husband, Richard, and I have four grown
children and two grandchildren. I enjoy opening up God’s wonderful world to
young students and assisting them on their journey of learning and
discovery. Helping my children to know the love of Jesus brings great joy to
my life.

Margaret ten Brink –
I feel
blessed to be able to share my love of God
and His creation with the students. I am entering my 22nd year
in Christian Education in Ontario. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in
Education from Dordt College, Sioux Centre, Iowa,
and obtained my Christian School Teaching Certificate. I have taught at
Timothy Christian School for the past 20 years in the primary and junior
levels. Currently, I teach grades 1 and 2.

Elizabeth Van Dyke - I was born and grew up in
Ottawa. I have been blessed with a wonderful family, a husband of 19 years
and 2 beautiful girls. I completed my undergraduate degree in Second
Language Teaching (French) & History at the
University of Ottawa and
attended Redeemer University College for Teacher's College. I have
completed all my courses to obtain my Ontario Teacher Certificate (OTC). I
love teaching because I love your kids! I enjoy the interaction with my
students and want to help them learn the best they can. My hobbies are
horses, cycling, running, and reading.
My whole family enjoys the little hobby farm we have. Currently, I
teach grades 6, 7 and 8, part-time.

Alyssa DeKleine - This is my third year of teaching, and I currently teach Grades 3, 4
and 5 at Timothy
Christian School.
As a former graduate
of TCS, I am excited to return to the school community as a teacher, and
feel blessed to have the opportunity to share my love for God and His
creation with my students. I graduated from Redeemer University
College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and English, as well as a
Bachelor of Education. I am actively involved in the praise and worship
ministry of my church, and enjoy sharing my love of music
with my students!

Marlene Luchies
- I teach computer class and French, using the Accelerative Integrated
Method (AIM). I am excited to be growing together with the students as we
explore the Internet and new technologies that will further our
understanding of God’s world and our place in it. In the French
program, we use gestures, literature, music and dance to help the students
understand the language more easily. I have also spent the last 7
years building my own business as a Creative Memories consultant. It brings
together my creative skills and I’ve found a love for business along the
way. My business allows me the opportunity to help people celebrate their
family memories and take the time for my "growing" family. My husband, Terry,
and I have three young children who all attend Timothy Christian School.

Krystle De Jong -
This is my first year of teaching, and I am currently
teaching Grade 3/4 part-time at Timothy Christian School. I feel very
blessed to be back at TCS, as a former student, and am excited for the
opportunity to help my students discover and develop their God-given gifts
and talents, and explore and nurture his Word into their hearts and minds. I
graduated from the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor of Education,
Carleton University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, as well as
earning my TESL certification. I am actively involved in my church’s
children’s ministry (children’s sermons) and enjoy traveling, biking, and
running.

Bonnie Wright - I am the
Resource/Special Education teacher, and work two half days per week. I received
my Ontario teaching certificate from Ottawa Teachers' College, my Special
Ed. qualifications through the University of Ottawa, and took additional
courses for Special Ed. throughout my career. In this field, nothing is
more rewarding than seeing the spark of satisfaction from a student who is
finally able to understand and succeed at something that he/she has found
very difficult. I have 2 grown children and 3 grandchildren. I taught for 14
years for the Awkwesasne Mohawk School board as a Special Ed. teacher,
working with children with various learning difficulties. I have
enjoyed volunteering with the Dundas County District Council, and love to
garden, sing in the church choir, and travel.

Truusje Berkelaar - I work part-time as the administrative
assistant and bookkeeper at TCS. It’s a great environment to work in. I
live just outside of Williamsburg. My husband, Sim, and I have five
children who all graduated from TCS. We've been blessed with 9 grandsons
and 2 granddaughters. In my spare time, I love to read, tole paint and
visit with my grandchildren.
