Timothy Christian School is a vibrant growing community providing a challenging Christ-centred learning environment through a variety of quality programs in facilities that meet the educational needs of our students.

COMMUNICATION

The Timothy Times  will be sent home with your oldest child on the first day of each week. This contains a combination of office and classroom notes, calendars and misc.  Twice a year, timed to coincide with our membership meetings, we publish the TCS Contact. This provides a thorough overview of what is happening at TCS, from the office to the committee meetings, to the classrooms. A monthly calendar is attached to the first Timothy Times of the month and an updated full year calendar listing of events is attached to the last Times of the month. Regular updates on our school's Shop & Support fundraising are included with the Times. Parent-Teacher interviews are held on the first Monday after the conclusion of Term One (usually early December).

CHAPEL

On alternate Monday mornings, beginning at 9:00, we have a devotional chapel for all grades.  Each class in turn is in charge of leading chapel. All are invited, including parents, grandparents and friends!

CALLING THE SCHOOL

If you wish to speak to a teacher, please call between 8:20-8:45 a.m., recesses, lunch hour or after school. See School Hours. The principal may also be reached at the same times as the teachers, plus most afternoons.

ETHICAL MATTERS

It happens on occasion that parents have questions regarding specific happenings at school.  It is requested that parents would first contact the teacher.  If the discussion is unsatisfactory, parents are advised to discuss the matter with the principal.  Should that fail to resolve the matter, the Education Committee would be consulted.  The final step, where necessary, would be to contact the Board of Directors.

All parents are urged to abide by these ethical procedures for several reasons:

1)     By doing so, matters are dealt with at the right level.

2)     Most concerns can be resolved most quickly this way.

3)     This system is applicable mostly just to those involved. (Matt. 18)
